As part of the recent adjustments following the latest census, our electoral district has undergone some changes. Bells Corners has now been added to our riding, while the Carleton area has been removed.
These changes are part of a nationwide review of electoral boundaries that occurs after each decennial census. The goal is to ensure that each electoral district reflects shifts in population and represents communities fairly. The new boundaries, including our updated riding, will take effect for the next general election called on or after April 23, 2024.
